Locu
Jan 2022 – Present
Locu is a productivity app we've built with Jakub Kracina and Martin Boksa. It started as something we came up with Jakub to improve our daily workflow as we were working remotely — a way to plan, focus, and actually get into deep work without drowning in context switching.
The core idea is simple: quality work needs quality focus. Most tools fragment your attention — you jump between task managers, notes, calendars, and chat. Locu keeps your work context in one place.
The daily workflow follows a rhythm: plan your priorities in a morning ritual, execute in deep focus blocks with distractions blocked, and shut down with clarity at the end of the day. It integrates with Linear, Jira, Slack, and Google Calendar so you don't need to leave the app most of the day.
What started as a personal tool turned out to resonate with other remote engineers and freelancers. We launched our beta in November 2025, and in two months made over $2k in revenue.

Building Locu has taught me a ton — from design and UX to making product trade-offs, marketing, and much more. I'm also happy that this is a tool I use daily for my own work, as well as tens of other engineers across the world, and have been for the last ~4 years.
